Charli xcx Unveils Full ‘Wuthering Heights’ Soundtrack Details, Including Sky Ferreira Collaboration
Fresh off the red carpet, Charli xcx has officially pulled back the curtain on her highly anticipated Wuthering Heights companion album. The British pop innovator confirmed the full 12-song tracklist—highlighted by a reunion with alt-pop enigma Sky Ferreira—following the film’s star-studded Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday night.
Celebrating Emerald Fennell’s cinematic reimagining of the Emily Brontë classic, Charli shared a series of highlights from the event. Clad in an ornate gold period-inspired gown, she was pictured alongside lead stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. To confirm the musical lineup, the “Von Dutch” singer shared a screenshot of a comment she left on the Wuthering Heights Letterboxd page, listing the dozen titles in their official sequence.
“‘Wuthering Heights’ 13th February <3,” she captioned the post, signaling that the album will debut in tandem with the film’s theatrical release.
The soundtrack features evocative titles such as “Dying for You,” “Open Up,” “My Reminder,” and “Funny Mouth.” However, the most buzzed-about entry is “Eyes of the World,” featuring Sky Ferreira. This marks the first time the two have collaborated since 2019’s “Cross You Out.” Ferreira’s appearance is a rare treat for fans, given her sporadic release schedule over the past decade.
Listeners have already been treated to a few previews from the LP, including “Chains of Love,” “Wall of Sound,” and the John Cale-assisted “House.” In a recent Substack reflection, Charli described the project as an exploration of a “raw, wild, and gothic” British aesthetic.
“I wanted to dive into a world that felt undeniably tortured and full of actual real sentences,” she noted, adding that while her name is on the credits, the project stands as its own unique creative entity separate from her traditional solo albums.
