The late actor Chadwick Boseman (known for Black Panther) was honored posthumously with a personal star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Present at the ceremony were Boseman’s loved ones and several of his collaborators, including Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and actors Michael B. Jordan, Viola Davis, among others.
Boseman passed away in 2020 from colon cancer. His final film released during his lifetime was Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, a performance that earned him an Academy Award nomination.
