Rather inclined to be at the heart of controversy for almost a year, CD Projekt Red returns today with good news, since the Polish studio announces the acquisition of The Molasses Flood, an indie studio based in Boston in the United States, founded in 2014 by vetarans from the Bioshock, Halo, Guitar Hero & Rock Band series. If we go into detail, we learn that CD Projekt Red has bought 60% of the capital of The Molasses Flood, but that 40% will be eroded over the years in a natural way. The Polish studio explains that despite this takeover, The Molasses Flood will be able to continue to work in total autonomy, knowing that the American firm is currently working on a new game which is based on one of the licenses of CD Projekt Red, probably from the universe of The Witcher or Cyberpunk 2077. On Twitter, Molasses Flood is pleased to join the CD Projekt Red family and explains that the company is recruiting a lot at the moment. So if ever you are tempted and want to move to the East Coast of the United States, now is the time.
Exciting news for us today! We’ve joined the CD PROJEKT family, and are working on a project within one of their existing universes 😍🤯 pic.twitter.com/8jhWylIfKh
