The organizers of Comic Con Igromir have announced an upcoming premiere of the fantasy-horror film “Catch the Monster.” The screening is scheduled for December 13 at Moscow’s Timiryazev Center.
The story centers on an eight-year-old girl who begs her neighbor to kill the monster hiding under her bed. Critics have responded positively to “Catch the Monster,” which holds a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film is directed by Brian Fuller, the creator of Hannibal. The cast includes Mads Mikkelsen, Sophie Sloan, Sigourney Weaver and David Dastmalchian.
“Catch the Monster” will be released in Russia on December 18. Comic Con Igromir runs from December 12 to 14. The festival program is available on the event’s website.
