Netflix has officially finalized the cast for its highly anticipated limited series, Kennedy. The production is fronted by Michael Fassbender, who takes on the role of the family patriarch, Joseph Kennedy Sr.
The star-studded ensemble also features Laura Donnelly as Rose Kennedy and Nick Robinson as Joseph Kennedy Jr. Rounding out the cast are Joshua Melnick, Saura Lightfoot Leon, Ben Miles, and Imogen Poots, the latter of whom will portray silver screen legend Gloria Swanson.
The narrative is adapted from Fredrik Logevall’s Pulitzer Prize-winning biography, JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956. The series aims to chronicle the origins and the meteoric rise of America’s most iconic political dynasty.
Directorial duties will be handled by acclaimed Danish filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg, best known for the Oscar-winning Another Round. As of now, Netflix has not confirmed an official premiere date for the project.
