Sony Pictures and New Line Cinema have finalized the cast for the upcoming chapter of the Evil Dead franchise, further expanding the iconic horror universe originated by Sam Raimi. The lineup of talent includes Charlotte Hope (The Nun), Josh Helman (Mad Max: Fury Road), Jessica McNamee (Mortal Kombat), Zach Gilford (The Midnight Club), and Ella Newton (Carnifex), along with several others.
While specific plot details are currently being kept under wraps, Francis Galluppi—the filmmaker behind The Last Stop in Yuma County—is attached to both write and direct the project.
Notably, this is not the only entry in the series on the horizon; another Evil Dead film is already in the final stages of post-production and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 24, 2026.
