The cinematic adaptations of “Buratino” and “Prostokvashino” have officially crossed the 2 billion ruble threshold in box office receipts. This achievement is confirmed by the latest data from the EAIS tracking system.
Igor Voloshin’s “Buratino” has secured 2.070 billion rubles to date, while Sarik Andreasyan’s “Prostokvashino” reached 2.092 billion rubles. Both features premiered across domestic cinemas on January 1st.
This follows the record-breaking performance of “Cheburashka 2,” which has already amassed over 4 billion rubles.
