Bulkhead Head Says Wardogs Will Cost More at Release
The price of the project will increase by $20 by its full release.
The developers of the shooter Wardogs intend to gradually increase the price of the game as it develops in early access. Bulkhead studio head Joe Brammer explained that this approach will allow the team to support the project over a long period, and he urged players who are unhappy with the cost simply not to buy the game.
In an interview with GamesRadar+ at Gamescom, Brammer called the system “price scaling.” At the start of early access, Wardogs sells for $39.99, but in about a year, when the game reaches version 0.5, the price will increase to $49.99. In about another year, the price will rise to $59.99.
If you don’t want to join now, wait until there is more content and features and buy the game later. If you want to buy it cheaper now, that’s also great.

The head of Bulkhead noted that developing Wardogs is expensive for the studio. According to him, the team sits somewhere between an independent and an AA studio, and creating realistic graphics requires a significant amount of time and resources.
We spend a lot of money on development. If you want to play a cheaper shooter, you can choose a cheaper shooter. That’s completely fine. But this is how much our game costs. Our game is worth this money, and if you don’t agree with that, please don’t buy it.
