Prepare your lightsticks because the global icons are back. BTS officially broke the internet on Tuesday, January 13, by announcing a massive world tour slated for 2026 and 2027.
The highly anticipated global trek will commence on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea. After a series of dates in Tokyo, the septet will head to the United States in late April. Their North American journey begins with a two-night stint in Tampa, Florida, on April 25–26, eventually concluding the regional leg with an impressive four-night residency in Los Angeles this September.
Per the official announcement, the tour will reach 34 different regions across 79 scheduled performances. Fans across the globe can expect the full lineup—Jin, RM, Jimin, V, J-Hope, Suga, and Jung Kook—to grace stages in Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Brazil, and Malaysia. The 2027 calendar already includes major stops in Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
This touring milestone follows the group’s January 4 announcement regarding their upcoming fifth studio album. Scheduled for a March 20 release, the currently untitled 14-track project is described as a deeply introspective work. The creative direction was forged through the members’ personal reflections, weaving their unique perspectives into a cohesive collective vision.
Before the official reveal of the album and tour, Jung Kook touched upon the group’s return following their mandatory military service and solo endeavors. “I believe this spring will be more pivotal than ever,” he shared with Elle Korea in December. “I truly hope everyone has a safe and wonderful spring as we reunite.”
