Things are about to get spicy for the world’s biggest pop sensations. As confirmed this past Sunday, BTS is officially slated to be the next featured guests on the hit web series Hot Ones. All seven members will join host Sean Evans to face off against the show’s notorious “wings of death.”
The announcement offered a glimpse of a specially modified set, featuring a massive table significantly larger than the show’s standard two-person setup. “To accommodate this week’s guests, who traveled across the globe to be here, we had to bring in the largest table this studio has ever seen,” Evans explained. With seven chairs prepared for the group, Evans noted that the challenge involves a record-breaking 80 wings on the table at once.
The teaser highlighted years of relentless requests from the BTS ARMY, showcasing a montage of social media posts pleading for the collaboration. The camera then panned across the nameplates for RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. Evans closed the reveal with a playful nod to the group’s discography, promising the season finale will be “dynamite” and “smooth like butter.”
The highly anticipated episode is scheduled to premiere this Thursday, April 9, at 11 a.m. ET. It’s a landmark day for the group, as they are also set to launch their massive world stadium tour in support of their latest album, ARIRANG. The project has already proven its global dominance, spending its second consecutive week at the summit of the Billboard 200.
