The adrenaline from BTS’s monumental comeback concert in Seoul may be settling, but the memories of the night remain etched in the members’ hearts.

Following their massive showcase at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21, the global icons took to Weverse to express their profound appreciation for the ARMY’s unwavering support. In a collective statement shared via RM’s profile, the group reflected on the gravity of the moment: “Hello, this is BTS. After four long years of anticipation, all seven members have finally reunited to stand before you in the historic heart of Seoul.”

The septet was quick to acknowledge the massive coordination required for such an event. According to the platform’s translation, they extended gratitude to the “police, firefighters, and local government officials” who worked tirelessly to ensure a “secure and seamless performance” despite the immense crowds gathered in the city center.

The group also displayed their characteristic humility by reaching out to the local community. They offered “sincere apologies and thanks to the citizens, merchants, and office workers in the Gwanghwamun area” who navigated traffic disruptions and noise throughout the festivities.

“We will never take your kindness and patience for granted; we will hold this consideration in our hearts for a long time,” the message continued. Addressing their fanbase directly, they added, “Most of all, to our dear ARMY—you are our everything. Thank you for trusting us and waiting for this moment. As always, you are our greatest source of pride.”

The historic concert served as the official launch for their newest studio effort, ARIRANG, which arrived on Friday, March 20. Individual members also shared personal reflections on their personal feeds. Jimin described the day as “unforgettable,” noting his immense joy at finally showcasing the group’s new choreography and music. “There is still so much content ahead, so please look forward to it!” he teased.

Jin posted a selfie from his flight, thanking the staff and crew who facilitated the safe comeback, while J-hope shared his own travel update, promising to return safely and reiterating his love for the fans.

With the Seoul festivities concluded, the group is now shifting their focus to the United States. Their upcoming promotional itinerary includes a specialized Spotify fan event in New York City and a high-profile appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

ARIRANG marks the first full-length project from the septet since 2020’s Be, which famously dominated the Billboard 200. This new era represents a triumphant reunion for the members following a period defined by successful solo ventures and the completion of their mandatory military service in South Korea.
