Bruno Mars has once again demonstrated his undeniable star power, as his latest single, “I Just Might,” claimed the top spot in this week’s reader-driven music poll.

In a survey published last Friday (Jan. 9) by Billboard, music enthusiasts were invited to nominate their favorite new release of the week. Mars’ soulful return emerged as the definitive frontrunner among a crowded field of contenders.

While the week featured high-profile drops from the likes of The Kid LAROI, Zach Bryan, and Robyn, Mars maintained a commanding lead throughout the weekend. By the time the polls closed on Sunday, “I Just Might” had secured a resounding victory, capturing over 71% of the total vote.

This release marks a pivotal moment for the pop icon, ending a nearly ten-year hiatus from solo studio albums following 2016’s chart-topping 24K Magic. His highly anticipated fourth full-length project, titled The Romantic, is slated for a Feb. 27 debut via Atlantic Records. “I Just Might” provides a tantalizing first glimpse into the new era, complete with a music video co-directed by Mars and Daniel Ramos, featuring choreography by Mars and Phil Tayag.

Beyond the new music, the superstar recently unveiled dates for his upcoming “Romantic Tour.” The global trek is scheduled to run from April through October, hitting major venues across North America, Canada, and Europe. Presale tickets become available starting Jan. 14, followed by a general public on-sale on Jan. 15.

Rounding out the poll results behind Mars were The Kid LAROI’s Before I Forget EP, which garnered 17% of the vote, followed by Zach Bryan’s With Heaven on Top at 3%, and Robyn’s new track “Talk to Me” at 2%.
