Borderlands 4 receives major update — performance improvements and a highly requested console feature

Developers are continuing to refine the game’s technical stability and performance.

Gearbox has released another update for Borderlands 4. This patch introduces a new feature, a number of technical improvements, and other adjustments.

Some changes and what’s new:

• Stability and performance enhancements.
• [Xbox/PlayStation] Added a field-of-view (FOV) adjustment slider on consoles.
• Fixed various instances of freezes, low FPS, and crashes.
• Updated character animations to improve performance.
• Resolved rare cases of infinite loading screens during cross-play.
• Fixed a bug that could cause players to lose or unexpectedly gain extra skill points in multiplayer.
• Corrections to several quests, user interface elements, and visual effects.
