Block Blast Returns to the Top: October’s Most Popular Mobile Games Revealed

Analysts have tallied mobile game downloads for October 2025 and produced a ranking of the month’s most-downloaded titles.

Mobilegamer.biz released the October list of top downloaded games using figures from the analytics platform AppMagic. The Chinese Android market was not included in the statistics.

Topping the chart once more was Block Blast, which reclaimed the summit after several months of decline. Hungry Studio’s puzzle was downloaded approximately 26 million times in October.

Roblox and Free Fire Max eased back following a record summer, registering about 23.7 million and 22.4 million downloads, respectively. Still, with competitors like Subway Surfers, Pizza Ready and Ludo King showing stagnation, both titles continue to hold strong positions.

The standout surprise in October was Bingchuan Network’s puzzle X-Clash: Dare, which rocketed up 148 places and saw downloads rise to 18.5 million.

Clash Royale is also experiencing renewed momentum: October delivered its best performance since March 2017, with 12 million installs.

In the second tier, EA Sports FC Mobile moved up nine spots (from 21st to 12th), while Paper.io 2 re-entered the top 20, leaping from 38th to 17th.
