Black Myth: Wukong Update Is Almost as Big as the Game Itself — But Only on PS5

Players will benefit from quicker load times and upgraded textures.

Black Myth: Wukong has received an update that enhances performance, reduces loading times, and improves texture fidelity. The developers also reworked balance, making fights with certain bosses more compelling.

On PC, support for AMD FSR 4 has been added, global illumination has been refined at low settings, and a compatibility mode is now available.

On PS5 the update requires a 93.5 GB download, even though the game occupies about 130 GB on Sony’s console. The team explained this stems from how the PS5 file system works, and recommended uninstalling and reinstalling the game if there isn’t enough free storage.
