Black Library to Release “Cadian Ghosts” — The Return of Sniper Sergeant Darya Nevik
Warhammer 40,000 fans will soon see new releases from Black Library, including Rob Young’s Ghosts of Cadia, a limited-edition Mephiston trilogy, and hardcover editions of Guy Haley’s The Devastation of Baal and Rob Young’s Longshot.
Black Library announced Ghosts of Cadia, the sequel to the 2023 novel Longshot. Sergeant Daria Nevik returns as the protagonist. After surviving her encounter with the T’au Empire in the previous book, Nevik joins the effort to liberate Parrescum from heretic forces. A chance meeting offers her a way to repay a past debt, but she must rely on her marksmanship and luck to navigate the pervasive influence of Chaos.
Readers can buy Ghosts of Cadia in hardcover, digital, or audio formats. The publisher also offers a special edition featuring a camouflage-sprayed edge and thematic cover art. Black Library will release a new hardcover version of Longshot to match the sequel.
Darius Hinks’ Mephiston trilogy returns in a limited-edition set. This collection includes all three novels housed in a decorative slipcase. Each volume features black faux-leather covers with red foil stamping.
Guy Haley’s The Devastation of Baal also receives a new hardcover release. The novel depicts the defense of Baal and the actions of the Blood Angels during the late 41st millennium.
