Billboard Launches Daily Crosswords — Includes Taylor Swift–Themed Week for Music and Puzzle Fans

Love music, pop culture or a clever brain-teaser? Billboard is rolling out a complimentary Daily Crossword on Billboard.com beginning today, Oct. 3, 2025. The new feature is designed for casual solvers and superfans alike — quick, entertaining puzzles you can finish during a coffee break or on your commute.

Each weekday (Monday through Friday) Billboard will publish a fresh 10×10 crossword that’s free to play. Whether you want to unwind, flex your trivia muscles or race friends to the finish, the Daily Crossword delivers bite-sized challenges focused on music, entertainment and contemporary culture.

To celebrate today’s rollout — which coincides with the arrival of Taylor Swift’s widely anticipated new album, The Life of a Showgirl — the inaugural puzzle spotlights Swift-related clues and themes. You don’t need to be a die-hard Swiftie to enjoy it; only a portion of the clues reference the artist, so newcomers can still solve comfortably.

Taylor-themed puzzles will continue throughout next week, Oct. 6–10. After that, expect a rotating lineup of themes: artists, songs, lyrics, viral trends and other cultural touchpoints will inform future grids, so check back regularly to see what connects each day’s puzzle.
