Billboard Announces Billboard India to Elevate the Country’s Music on the Global Stage

On November 3, 2025, Billboard announced the launch of Billboard India, a dedicated initiative designed to amplify one of the world’s most rapidly expanding music markets and introduce its artists and sounds to an international audience.
Developed in partnership with Other Side Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Billboard India will roll out a comprehensive suite of offerings — from Billboard’s signature charts and editorial lists to music awards, multimedia features, artist interviews and biographies, branded merchandise and exclusive events. These services are set to go live in early 2026.
Billboard India will spotlight artists across the Indian diaspora and cover the full breadth of the country’s musical landscape — from the enduring influence of film soundtracks to the meteoric rise of independent musicians and India’s expanding presence on global streaming charts.

Priyanka Khimani, media advisor and a principal architect behind Other Side Ventures, has played a central role in bringing Billboard to India. Khimani says the project aims to create a single, authoritative voice that measures and celebrates the nation’s musical achievements, driven by robust data and resources to honor artistic success and foster pride and influence.
Billboard India will be based in Mumbai. The complete editorial team will be announced in the coming months.
