Montauk Yacht Club Revives Marina Music Series for a Third Summer

The Montauk Yacht Club is teaming up with Billboard once again to bring back its celebrated Marina Music Series. Entering its third season, the summer program kicks off this Memorial Day weekend, featuring an exclusive DJ set by the visionary artist Washed Out on Saturday, May 23.
Widely regarded as the architect of the chillwave genre, Washed Out—the musical persona of singer, songwriter, and producer Ernest Greene—will curate the sunset soundtrack from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET. Known for his atmospheric soundscapes, Greene has enjoyed significant commercial success, landing two albums in the top 20 of Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart, most notably his 2024 Sub Pop release, Notes From a Quiet Life.
This performance marks the beginning of an expansive summer lineup at the East End destination. The series builds on a strong legacy of past performances, including sets by NEIL FRANCES and Paco Versailles in 2025, alongside inaugural appearances by Anderson .Paak and St. Lucia in 2024.

“Billboard has been a vital partner for us, and we are thrilled to return to the Montauk Yacht Club,” says Casey Dolkas, VP of activations and experiences at Proper Hospitality. “Music is essential to the community and culture we build across our properties, and Montauk serves as the ultimate backdrop for this series.”
“We are dedicated to placing artists and fans in truly unique environments,” adds Mary Rooney, SVP of experiences at Billboard. “Expanding this partnership allows us to cultivate an intimate, elevated summer series that feels deeply rooted in music culture.”
Steeped in history since its founding in 1928, the Montauk Yacht Club remains the Hamptons’ premier luxury marina and resort. Located on Star Island, the 16-acre property features 106 guest rooms and over 230 boat slips, offering a sophisticated coastal retreat.
