Battlefield 6 campaign could be problematic and drag its Metacritic score down to 70 — insider

While the beta’s multiplayer impressed many, the early campaign material has so far been underwhelming.

A recent showcase of the Battlefield 6 campaign stirred concern across the gaming community, and additional warning signs have since surfaced.

Prominent insider Tom Henderson, who previously shared verified details about BF 2042, commented:

“I know many people won’t be playing Battlefield 6 for the campaign, but it seems the single-player portion still requires significant work. As a result, a game that might have scored 80–90 on Metacritic could end up around the 70–75 range in its current state.”

Based on the discussion, a notable number of players remain interested in Battlefield 6’s story campaign.

The game’s release is scheduled for October 10.
