Battlefield 6 Accused of Using AI for Battle Pass Cosmetics
Cosmetic items featuring signs of artificial intelligence generation have been discovered in Season 5 of Battlefield 6, including a soldier outfit with five pistols and a weapon charm containing numerous errors.
Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios launched Season 5 of Battlefield 6 alongside a new battle pass, but several of the rewards have drawn criticism from players.
One soldier outfit features five identical pistols. Another cosmetic item contains a spelling error in its text, displaying “Secuty” on the sleeve instead of “Security”.
Reddit user DemidRomanov also drew attention to the Drawing Dead charm. According to him, the depicted weapon contains many strange details, including two triggers, a warped barrel and handguard, and a missing front sight and gas block. The image also displays issues with skull shape and finger count.
The article author believes that there may be other examples of artificial intelligence usage in the battle pass.
