Analysts Estimate Marvel’s Wolverine Revenue at Nearly $193 Million
One-third of sales came from physical versions.
According to estimates from Alinea Analytics, Marvel’s Wolverine generated $192.9 million in revenue with worldwide sales of 2.5 million copies. Approximately one-third of buyers chose the physical edition of the game, while the rest purchased the digital version.
About two-thirds of players spent more than 10 hours in Wolverine, 54% spent over 15 hours, and 31% spent more than 20 hours. Meanwhile, roughly half of users completed the main story campaign, but only 12% earned the platinum trophy, which indicates full completion of the game.
The main story of Wolverine takes roughly 12 to 15 hours, and there is relatively little post-campaign content. According to analysts, some physical copy owners may eventually sell the game or trade it in for another title, which is quite typical for single-player projects with limited replayability.
