“Battle for the Bit” star to lead new horror film from producer Sam Raimi
Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Chase Infiniti (“Battle for the Battle,” “The Testaments”) has been tapped to star in the upcoming Lionsgate horror feature “Portrait of God,” as reported by Deadline.
The narrative centers on Mia (Infiniti), a deeply religious young woman who embarks on a quest to discover authentic depictions of the Divine. The project is being produced by genre heavyweight Sam Raimi (“Evil Dead”) and Academy Award winner Jordan Peele (“Get Out”). Helming the film is emerging director Dylan Clark, who was previously tapped to helm the upcoming “The Blair Witch Project” reboot scheduled for a 2027 release.
Beyond this new venture, Infiniti recently graced the screen in the drama “Many Julias,” which made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival.
