Bans and Unbans in GTA Online
The fight against cheaters in GTA Online continues, and during the latest wave of bans, honest players might have been mistakenly prevented from accessing the game. The developers are aware of this and are already unblocking the accounts of those who were mistakenly banned. If you find yourself among them, you need to contact support to lift the ban. Initially, you may receive an automatically generated response saying that it’s not possible, but, as noted, the block might be lifted within a week. This will certainly happen if you receive an email confirming the unban.
Meanwhile, over the past week, our team has observed activity in “Online” from profiles labelled rc*****, where * represents certain numbers. In some cases, these troublemakers kill players, causing the game to crash instantly, while in others, they send false ban notifications. They even carry out these actions via SMS.
