Bandai Namco Readies New DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO — Character Roster to Expand Again

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO captured the attention of the franchise’s fans from its very first days. Following a strong launch and a rapid surge in popularity, Bandai Namco celebrated the game’s first anniversary as the roster of available fighters topped 200.

To mark the milestone, the publisher said the expansion of the project is only beginning: a new DLC with another wave of fighters is scheduled for release in January 2026. Bandai Namco stressed that “more than 200 characters is just the start,” and future additions will bring even more combat options. Players can look forward to fresh combos, distinctive abilities, and new matchups between heroes.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on November 14, 2025. Bandai Namco has also released a trailer recapping the project’s first year.
