Baldur’s Gate 3’s title screen took years to make — Larian tried many versions and the final one appeared just before release
Baldur’s Gate 3 wasn’t assembled overnight; the development process involved a wide range of creative experiments.
The developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 have been steadily revealing different aspects of the game’s production.
Recently, a social media user going by cheersitskatie shared her thoughts on the game’s title screen:
“One underrated thing in Baldur’s Gate 3 is the atmosphere of this screen — it’s so perfectly calming that I could leave it running in the background all day.”
Michael Daus, Publishing Director at Larian Studios, responded to the post:
“There were SO MANY versions over the years, and if I remember correctly, the final one arrived quite late in the process!”
