Doja Cat and Bad Bunny Star in Playful Promo for SNL Season Premiere
Published Oct. 2, 2025 — Season premiere airs Oct. 4, 2025

In a short, tongue-in-cheek promo released by NBC on Oct. 2, Bad Bunny and Doja Cat playfully brush off comedian Chloe Fineman’s attempts at humor as they preview the upcoming Saturday Night Live season premiere.
The clip — presented as three separate takes — teases what viewers can expect when Bad Bunny hosts and Doja Cat performs as the episode’s musical guest on Oct. 4, 2025. Fineman, one of the show’s current cast members, appears alongside the pair in the footage.
In the first take, Bad Bunny introduces himself: “Hi, I’m Bad Bunny, and I’ll be hosting the season premiere of SNL this week with Doja Cat.” Fineman interjects with a comic aside, introducing herself as “Chloe Salamander.”
The second take finds Bad Bunny downplaying the SNL fuss while playfully hyping his larger upcoming engagement — he will headline the Super Bowl halftime show — signalling that television stardom is familiar territory for him.
In the third take, Doja Cat defers to Bad Bunny’s on-camera experience, telling Fineman, “Chloe, he’s done this before,” and placing her confidence in his ease before the live audience.
After the Oct. 4 premiere, the season’s early slate includes Amy Poehler hosting with Role Model as musical guest on Oct. 11, followed by Sabrina Carpenter hosting and performing on Oct. 18. While Carpenter has appeared on SNL previously, Oct. 18 will mark her first time hosting the show.
