Ayaneo Reveals Pricing and Specs for the Pocket Micro 2 — Initial Batch Already Sold Out

Users now know the hardware specifications for the Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 handheld console. Early buyers purchased the initial stock immediately after the official reveal.

Ayaneo presented the Pocket Micro 2, confirming a 3.5-inch screen with a 960 × 640 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio.

The console runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. It includes 6 to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128 to 256 GB of storage, and an active cooling system with a fan. The device also features a gyroscope, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3950 mAh battery, and Android 13.

Controls include a D-pad, ABXY buttons, L1/R1 and L2/R2 triggers, and Start/Select buttons. Players also get two TMR joysticks with L3/R3 functionality. RGB LED rings surround the sticks. The power button houses a fingerprint scanner, while the frame contains a full-function USB 3.1 Type-C port, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The device measures 162 × 67.8 × 18 mm and weighs 248 grams. Ayaneo offered launch discounts on its website. The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model in Midnight Black or Frost White cost $239, while the Starlight Purple version cost $269. The 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model cost $279 for black or white and $309 for purple. These units sold out quickly.

Standard retail prices for the device are $269 for the 6 GB and 128 GB black or white model. The 8 GB and 256 GB version costs $309 for black or white, and $339 for purple.
