Many gamers preferred the initial Pocket Micro model because it avoided tall analog sticks. Users often found sticks unnecessary for emulating older, simpler systems, and the additional hardware made the device bulky for pocket transport.
The inclusion of two recessed TMR sticks surprised some fans. Close inspection of the new imagery also reveals shoulder buttons that wrap around the corners of the console.
