Actress Aubrey Plaza has joined the cast of the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, director and leading actor Michael B. Jordan revealed.
Details about Plaza’s role have not been disclosed. The film’s ensemble also includes Adria Arjona, Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, Ruth Negga, Danai Gurira and Paapa Essiedu. Amazon MGM is scheduled to release the new version on March 5, 2027.
The original Thomas Crown Affair follows a billionaire who steals works of art as a pastime. He eventually meets a detective and falls in love with her. The 1999 adaptation starring Pierce Brosnan is especially well known.
Plaza most recently appeared in the comedy “Honey, Don’t!”
