Assault Case Against Houston Rapper Z-Ro Dismissed

A misdemeanor assault case in opposition to Houston rapper Z-Ro has been dismissed, TMZ and the Houston Chronicle report. According to a courtroom doc, considered by Pitchfork, “While probable cause exists, [Z-Ro] has successfully completed the Batter’s Intervention Program.” Pitchfork has contacted representatives for Z-Ro.

Z-Ro, whose actual identify is Joseph Wayne McVey IV, was arrested in Harris County, Texas in July 2017 and was initially charged with felony aggravated assault. He was accused of brandishing a gun whereas attacking his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bullock (aka rapper Just Brittany) for 2 hours. The prices have been finally diminished to misdemeanor assault on a family member earlier than being dropped this week.
