Houston rapper Z-Ro was arrested today in Harris County, Texas and charged with felony aggravated assault, TMZ reports. Z-Ro, born Joseph Wayne McVey, has been accused of allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, the rapper Just Brittany, for over two hours in April. Just Brittany reported the incident to Harris County police, providing recorded audio of the alleged assault. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office determined the audio was sufficient evidence to arrest and charge Z-Ro. The rapper is reportedly being held without bond.
