Assassin’s Creed: Shadows launches on Switch 2 in December — insider

According to journalist billbil-kun, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled to launch on December 5, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Pre-orders will open ahead of release and will include a physical Game‑Key Card edition, similar to the Switch 2 release of Star Wars Outlaws.

Sources say the pre-order start date will be announced on November 7, with a reported retail price of about €50. The game was briefly listed on the French retailer Auchan’s website before the page was taken down.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Since its March 2025 release, the game reached 5 million players by July 2025.
