The least we can say is that between Assassin’s Creed and the leaks, it’s a long love story. Indeed, we can no longer count the leaks that Ubisoft’s flagship series has been the subject of in the past, the last relayed just before the officialization of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla having hit the nail on the head. However, that does absolutely not mean that we must take at face value the still fresh rumors concerning Assassin’s Creed 2022.
Appeared on 4chan and Reddit, they reveal the code name of the game, the time during which the adventure will take place, the protagonists that we will be able to meet, or even the introduction of alchemy.
- The code name of the game is Assassin’s Creed Tournament
- The story will take place at the start of the Hundred Years War (1337-1453)
- We will play as a knight who wins a tournament
- We will be able to fight British and German knights belonging to the Order of the Garter
- It will be possible to besiege castles
- Jousting and fighting in arenas are also on the program.
- Nicolas Flamel will occupy the same role as Leonardo da Vinci, and will therefore provide gadgets to the hero
- The RPG mechanics of the last episodes will still be present
- Alchemy will allow you to concoct your own potions and use spells
- There is a strong link between Richard the Lionheart
- Basim Ibn Ishaq will be embodied in contemporary times
- The Precursors will be more than present in the game
- A segment of the game is dedicated to a war between the Precursors and humans
- The game is developed by Ubisoft Sofia
- Due to COVID-19, the game’s release has been postponed to 2022
- The creative director is Mikhail lozanov, is screenwriter Alex Harakis
Note that the code name “Assassin’s Creed Tournament” clearly suggests that multiplayer could make a comeback. Considering that the parties to several did not leave an unforgettable memory, it will be a big risk-taking on the part of the developers.
- Once again, these are just rumors, and if the release of this new Assassin’s Creed has indeed been postponed to 2022, we are not ready to hear about it for a while.
