Aretha Franklin’s 1956 recordings Songs Of Faith: Aretha Gospel have been remastered for a brand new vinyl reissue. It arrives March 22 by way of Geffen/UMe, and will probably be launched on a limited-edition white vinyl LP along with a standard black vinyl and digitally as nicely. Songs of Faith was recorded on the New Bethel Baptist Church when Franklin was 14 years previous, accompanying herself on piano and performing earlier than sermons by her father, the Rev. C. L. Franklin.
