Annihilated launches on Steam on July 22 with deckbuilder roguelite combat
Independent developer Fini makes a Steam debut on July 22 with Annihilated, a dark RPG that mixes deckbuilder roguelite battles with an anime visual novel structure.
The game follows a girl who wakes up inside a living nightmare and tries to understand whether she can break the loop around her. Runs are built around card-based decisions, unpredictable encounters and story scenes that connect each attempt to the larger mystery.
According to the announcement, Annihilated uses roguelite progression and deck construction as the core of combat. Players gather cards, tune a build and react to situations that can change from one run to the next.
The visual style leans into a bright anime look while the story keeps a darker tone. The release is planned for PC via Steam, and a trailer is already available from the publisher.
