Oscar winner Angelina Jolie will headline the new, high-stakes thriller Sunny, Deadline reports.
The film is being directed by Eva Sørhaug (Yellowjackets). The story follows a female mobster (Jolie) who must shield herself and her sons from a powerful drug kingpin — and she has only a few hours to secure their safety.
Filming is already underway. The screenplay was co-written by William Day Frank. Jolie is also set to appear next year in the drama «Couture».
