The American Film Institute (AFI) has published its list of the top film and television projects of 2025.
The ten films selected are:

The following television series were recognized:
“Andor”

“The Diplomat”

“The Studio”
“One of Many”
“Coming of Age”
“Underbelly”
“Division”
“Struck by Lightning”
A special prize was awarded to Jafar Panahi’s Iranian film “A Simple Coincidence.” The film has been chosen as France’s official submission for the 2026 Academy Awards.
