Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company have officially unveiled Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. Serving as a direct follow-up to the 2021 cooperative shooter, this next installment is slated to arrive this summer on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. As showcased in an exclusive trailer, players can expect the return of iconic Xenomorph threats and familiar armaments, alongside a major gameplay evolution: the transition to a four-player squad dynamic.

Moving away from the original title’s three-person format, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 embraces a more robust four-player cooperative experience. The developers have confirmed full crossplay support across all platforms. Additionally, the sequel introduces a suite of fresh Xenomorph variants, expanded class systems—including a highly versatile “Specialist” class that allows for deep ability customization—and the inclusion of a dedicated Horde mode.
