Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Star Addresses Rumors of Return
Clark Gregg has shared his support for the announcement of the new spy thriller series Zodiac.
Following the announcement of the new Marvel series Zodiac at New York Comic-Con, fans suspected that the project might be connected to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The speculation began when fans spotted an element of the S.H.I.E.L.D. emblem inside the letter A in the logo. Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum fueled the interest further by suggesting that people take a closer look at the title design:
“If you’re a comic book fan, there are quite a few clues hidden in this logo.”
Now, fan theories have received another talking point. Clark Gregg, who played Phil Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., posted the Zodiac logo on his account. Fans interpreted the post as a potential hint at the actor’s return, although Gregg himself has not confirmed anything of the sort.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aired from 2013 to 2020 and concluded after seven seasons. The series followed Coulson’s team as they investigated unusual occurrences and the activities of secret organizations.
Marvel plans to begin filming Zodiac in the spring of 2027, with a premiere expected in 2028. Plot details and the cast have not yet been disclosed.
