Addison Rae Lights Up New York During First Headlining Tour

Influencer-turned-pop artist Addison Rae made two spirited appearances in New York City as part of her inaugural headlining run. The 24-year-old brought The Addison Tour to the Brooklyn Paramount on October 1 and later to Terminal 5 on October 3, treating sold-out rooms to a high-energy set.

After wrapping a European leg that began when the tour launched on August 26 at the National Stadium in Dublin, Rae opened the North American portion in late September. The Brooklyn performance marked her first proper New York date on this tour, and she told the audience how much performing in the city meant to her.

Rae released her debut studio album, Addison, in early June; the record entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4. In the weeks before the album dropped, she hosted an intimate listening event at The Box in New York, previewing seven of the record’s 12 tracks for a select crowd.

Onstage in Brooklyn she admitted she wished she had more material to play — a nod to her rapidly growing catalog — and delivered a mix of fan favorites and collaborations. Highlights from the set included the sultry single “2 die 4,” a remix of “Von Dutch” featuring Charli XCX, and the experimental “Aquamarine/Arcamarine” with Arca.

The North American run began September 22 in Austin and continued through cities including Nashville, Atlanta and Washington, D.C., before the New York dates. Rae’s U.S. schedule continues into late October, after which the tour will move on to Australia for additional dates.

Below are a selection of photos from her New York appearances.
