Teagan Croft, best known for her standout performance in the series Titans, has been cast as the titular lead in Disney’s upcoming live-action reimagining of the classic fairy tale. Joining her as the charming rogue Flynn Rider is Milo Manheim, who rose to fame as the star of the Zombies musical franchise.
The project will be helmed by Michael Gracey, the visionary director behind The Greatest Showman. Given Gracey’s pedigree and the musical backgrounds of the lead actors, it is expected that Rapunzel will return to the big screen as a full-scale musical featuring vocal performances from the main cast.
