Actors cast as Dobby and Tom Riddle for Harry Potter season two

HBO has unveiled several key casting additions for the upcoming second season of the Harry Potter television series.

As the narrative shifts to adapt “The Chamber of Secrets,” the production has welcomed Lenny Rush to voice the house-elf Dobby, Billy Barratt (known for his role in “Bring Back the Cat”) as Tom Riddle, and Bonnie Hill as Ginny Weasley.

It was previously reported that Kit Harington will step into the role of Gilderoy Lockhart, while Peter Serafinowicz has been tapped to play the mischievous poltergeist Peeves. Principal photography for the second season is slated to commence this autumn, with a premiere anticipated no sooner than late 2027.

The debut season, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” is scheduled to launch on HBO on December 25th.
