Activision pulls out all the stops to distract from Battlefield 6 by making Black Ops 6 completely free for a limited time

Free weekends typically apply only to multiplayer.

Activision has announced a limited-time free period for Black Ops 6. From October 9 to October 16, players on PC and consoles will be able to download the shooter to sample not just the multiplayer and Zombies modes, but the campaign as well — with no restrictions.

Call of Duty often runs free weekends when new seasons launch, but this is the first time the campaign has been offered for free. Many believe Activision is attempting to draw attention away from Battlefield 6, which is set to release on October 10.
