Activision Blocks Mention of Arc Raiders in Black Ops 7 Beta

You can still talk about Battlefield 6 in the new Call of Duty’s chat.

Players noticed that mentions of the extraction shooter Arc Raiders are being censored in the Black Ops 7 beta chat.

Filtering is common in multiplayer lobbies to block swearing, toxic comments, or insults, but censoring a game’s title is unusual. By contrast, references to Battlefield 6 are allowed in chat. It’s also worth noting that the words “Arc” and “Raiders” are fine on their own, while the combined phrase is immediately blocked.

EA’s app likewise prevents users from mentioning Arc Raiders.
