Action RPG “Where Winds Meet” showcased at Tokyo Game Show 2025 — launching in November
Although the Tokyo Game Show is traditionally focused on Japanese projects, Chinese studio EverStone Studio seized the chance to present a title that honors national art.
Where Winds Meet — a combat-driven open-world RPG with free-to-play online features. It’s scheduled to launch in the West on November 14, 2025, so the team is taking every opportunity to raise awareness.
One month after their previous announcement, the studio and publisher NetEase Games released a new trailer that spotlights the melee weapon combat system.
Where Winds Meet will offer an extensive arsenal: spear, sword, dual blades, throwing weapons, and even an umbrella. The developers refined each weapon so that combat feels both intuitive and visually striking.
The studio also confirmed plans for seasonal updates every three months. The first season will introduce two major regions with fresh storylines. EverStone Studio plans to deliver varied content: new narrative elements, expanded gameplay and maps, plus limited-time activities to advance characters and social features.
