For fans of “Mafia,” the year began with the developers’ announcement that they adhere to omertà, leading to an information silence. It has only just been broken now.
As it has been revealed, representatives from Hangar 13 studio will appear at the PAX East 2025 exhibition, which will be held from May 8-11 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Their panel will take place on the first day, Thursday, at 21:00 Kyiv time. During this event, they will showcase a gameplay trailer and additional behind-the-scenes materials. They also promise to host a live stream and answer players’ questions posted under the relevant publication on Steam.
After this, we will possibly have to wait another three months. Someone overlooked, and a Spanish-language post (now deleted) was left on Steam with a probable release date for the game. If nothing changes, Mafia: The Old Country will be released on August 8, 2025.
