Although he doesn’t use the internet, an elderly man still makes an effort to keep up with new releases.
A touching story about a longtime customer of the Tetris store has been circulating online. Staff members say a 60-year-old man has been stopping by regularly for more than ten years to pick up the latest games. He doesn’t own a smartphone, so every title — now numbering over 70 — is carefully noted by hand in his notebook.
He also doesn’t have internet at home — the Tetris team says he refuses to have it installed — so he relies on store employees to install games and download updates while he chooses new discs in person.
He used to play on an old CRT television, then traded five PS3 consoles and 130 discs for a PS4 Pro and a new display. Today, the longtime gamer owns a PlayStation 5.
