‘34T MY W4RP FUM35’ – Frontier to promote nameplates for Elite Dangerous ships

Developers Frontier are including the flexibility to call ships to model 2.three of the sport, which is now in beta. When you have executed so, your ship’s title will seem in your HUD and in multicrew teams. Other gamers will even be capable to see it after they scan or goal you. Naming your ship prices you nothing.

If you need your ship’s title to look on its in-game mannequin, nonetheless, you’ll want to purchase a nameplate. These are available themed packs that’ll value £2, or $three US. Each will include three designs, and every design is available in three colors (black, white, and gray) for a complete of 9 plates per pack. Once you’ve purchased a pack, you should utilize its contents freely throughout all of your present and future ships, and you may rename every ship as typically as you want.

The information comes via community manager Edward Lewis, after builders Frontier felt the necessity to make clear a couple of factors following the announcement of the nameplates function in a recent video Q&A.
