2B from NieR: Automata Can Now Live on Your Desktop Thanks to a Desktop Mate Collab

The beloved heroine keeps turning up in a variety of promotions and projects.

Fans recently had another reason to talk about NieR: Automata — and once again, it’s not because of a new game announcement.

Reports have surfaced of another collaboration: NieR: Automata x Desktop Mate — a tie-in with an app that lets users place a virtual character on their PC desktop.

Desktop Mate itself is free to download, but it offers an assortment of premium add-ons.

On October 9, the “NieR: Automata — YoRHa No.2 Type B” DLC is set to launch, allowing fans to place the iconic 2B on their desktop. English and Japanese voice tracks are promised.
